Born in Virginia Beach, Mr. Willis received his B.A. from Hampden Sydney College in 1986, and his J.D. from Mercer University in 1990.
Ros is a member of the Virginia Beach and Virginia Bar Associations, as well as the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
After receiving his law degree, he joined the law firm of Breeden, McMillan and Green practicing insurance defense litigation from 1990-1993. From 1993-1994, he practiced personal injury with Griffin, Pappas & Scarborough in Portsmouth, VA. In 1995, Ros formed a partnership with Mike Bowerman (Bowerman and Willis) where he focused his practice on personal injury, criminal and traffic defense and general litigation. In 2003, he joined Inman and Strickler and practices in personal injury, worker’s compensation, criminal and traffic law. He is currently a managing partner of the firm.
He is actively involved in the local community. He is the past president of the Hilltop YMCA board; past president of the Virginia Beach Youth Foundation formerly known as the Exchange Club of Virginia Beach; he has served on the board of JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), Francis Land House and The Robinhoods of Virginia Beach. Presently, he serves on the Board of Seton Youth Shelters and Cape Henry Collegiate Alumni Board.He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach. He and his wife and their two children reside in Virginia Beach.
